Yes. Every loft includes breakfast in the Granary — new bread, orchard preserves, eggs, and a pot of tea or coffee, taken at the long table or carried up to your room.

The Millrace runs by session and fills quickly, so it is worth reserving at the desk when you arrive. Lofts can also book a private evening hour in the undercroft. Robes and towels are provided at the stair.

About ten minutes on foot along the towpath. The riverfront is a lively casino destination in the evenings, and many guests enjoy Cornmere precisely because it is the calm gateway they walk back to. The mill itself stays quiet — near the action, apart from it.

No. The gaming room off the courtyard is entirely optional, physically separate from the lofts, and limited to guests twenty-one and over with photo identification. Your loft, breakfast, bathhouse, and everything else are unaffected whether you look in or not.

There is a small gravel yard behind the orchard for guests arriving by car, first come by arrangement. The lanes near the mill are narrow, so let us know your plans and we will hold a space and send directions.

Yes. The short daily menu makes it easy — tell us at booking about any allergy or preference and the cook will build around it. Vegetarian suppers are always available; vegan and gluten-free with a little notice.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Sluice and Orchard lofts with notice, and children of all ages are welcome across the house — we set aside a family hour in the warm pool on request. The gaming room remains strictly adults only.

Cancel without charge up to forty-eight hours before arrival. Busy weekends and whole-house bookings may need seventy-two hours; your confirmation note states which applies to your stay.
